NOVELTY CAKES
Granny's Camp Site actually happened in her own back garden, but minus the wild animals. So this cake was based on that event. Made using chocolate and fondant, almost everything on this cake was edible. Great fun making this
This is the inside of the cake. A triple chocolate brownie base, four layers of vanilla sponge filled with vanilla buttercream and salted caramel. Covered in white chocolate ganache and fondant.
Someone's favourite meal, but ssshh!, its cake really. A rich moist chocolate sponge, pasta shapes made from chocolate, peppers from various sweets, drizzled in a red chocolate sauce, all served in what looks like the must have Pasta Bake dish. But its still cake really. Yummy.
This was a great cake for Father's Day, from a son to a father, a touch of home, the good ol' USofA. Red Velvet was a must here with a cream cheese filling as it's this cowboys favourite.

At last Santa gets to kick his boots off and relax for another year. This is such a fun cake and can be any flavour, but this one is vanilla. This one is a small size for a smaller family party but you can have it much bigger it you want for that extra WOW factor at any Christmas party.
A lemon flavoured cake filled with home-made lemon curd and covered with a marshmellow and vanilla fondant. Everything on this cake, except one flower, is completely edible.
But he loves everyone! A multi-flavoured quilted design cake with sugar pearls, flowers and large pink bows topped with a chocolate Teddy completely hand piped. This cake came in at just under 12" tall and WOW it really took centre place at this young lady's birthday. She loved it as much I loved making it.
When cake isn't cake! This cake has so many elements and was so fun to do. This was based on someones favourite things to snack on. A ham/cream cheese sandwich, cookies, fries, not to mention hot chocolate & marshmellows with his own pot of special sauce. Everything is cake and edible, even the cookies we baked for him. That's one big snack!
Cake pretending to be food. The bun on this cake is vanilla sponge whereby the actual burger is a chocolate sponge. The cheese, tomato, lettuce, and other fillings can be made from either chocolate or fondant. On this occasion fries weren't on the menu, but we can do those too.
Its only cake I know but this guy is so cute! He was a little boys birthday cake and it was one of those moments where the cake dictated what it should look like and took a life of its own and voila here he is!! I hope you like him as much as I do.
